Men In Kilts Arrives in Boston
Men In Kilts, Canada’s largest window cleaning, gutter cleaning, siding cleaning, and pressure washing company expands further up the Eastern coast officially opening in Boston. Since franchising began in 2010, Men In Kilts has grown to 10 locations and has plans to be in every major market by 2017.
Boston owners, Judy Briggs and her son Chris Murphy, are excited to launch into their new business adventure. “When I heard about Men In Kilts, I thought the idea was great! The opportunity to grow this business is massive. Wearing the kilt definitely gets the otherwise invisible window cleaner noticed,” says Briggs.
As a proud US Army Veteran, Murphy comments on his new work attire saying, “Wearing the kilt is definitely something different for me, but like wearing my army uniform, the kilt gives me a strong sense of pride.”
Along with his new wardrobe, Murphy also recognizes the value in this opportunity saying, “It’s really special when you can go into business with your family. I know my mom and I will have a lot of fun. As the Operations Manager, I am excited to serve the Boston community with our fantastic customer service and top-notch cleaning skills.”
Men In Kilts services are available throughout the year, but with spring right around the corner, the timing of the launch could not have lined up more perfectly. Briggs says, “Soon, everyone is going to be starting their spring cleaning and we hope Men In Kilts Boston can help people knock some chores off their to-do list.”
Brent Hohlweg, Men In Kilts Co-founder and Chief Brand Architect, is excited for Judy and Chris to help grow the brand. “Expanding further along the Eastern coast is definitely an exciting milestone for us. Judy and Chris bring a lot of business experience to the Boston market and their passion for this brand is evident. We believe the kilts will be very popular in Boston because the Celtic heritage is so prominent,” says Hohlweg.
