Randomly stumbled into this place, and very glad we did! They had a huge selection of whisky but also Yorkshire tea, haggis, and meat pies! There were also kilts and tartan shawls and Prince Charlie jackets and sporrans and flasks. The guy working there also seemed Scottish and had an excellent sense of humor. Must come back to get my fill of Scottish things.

What a cool store! After visiting S.F. for 25 years, it's much harder to find unique gems these days. This place got my attention because they sold whiskey, but I was pleasantly surprised to see they also sold some popular British groceries (mushy peas!!!) Their Scotch whiskey selection is awe-inspiring and probably unrivaled! I'm a newcomer to Scotch, so I purchased a few mini bottles of some very unique scotches that you wouldn't be able to find in that size elsewhere. They also have a broad and well curated selection of Bourbon and international spirits. The staff know their stuff too! I will be back in a few months when I'm back in the city.

I've long wanted a kilt, so when I was invited to a formal wedding, I knew that a formal kilt was the answer. I grew up in the City and I regret somehow not having checked this place out sooner! I went in to get fitted for the Prince Charlie rental. I was a little nervous as a woman going in to get fitted for a gentleman's outfit, but John especially made my experience a delight. He was very kind, warm, and helpful and he even gave me some tips for dressing for the wedding on my own. Thanks, John! I really appreciated chatting with you and all the tidbits of information! (Special shout-out to Will, who had to run up and down the stairs a few times as we got the sizing right.)

This is primarily a Scotch Malt Whiskey store, and a very good one. We went to a tasting while we were in San Francisco. It was very well done and very informative. The shop has an excellent selection of single malts as well as an a array of other hard-to-find distilled spirits. I highly recommend a visit!
